How do I know if I should use a website template or custom design for my website? Many times someone chooses a website template because they can save money on overall cost of the development of their website, (Since much of the design and graphics is already completed). A website created from a template also can be completed more quickly than one created from scratch. Aside from that, you may simply see a template design that you really like, and would like to use.

At the top-left is the TYPE OF TEMPLATE: Full Site, Main page-only or FLASH-only site, etc...

There will be a statement indicating if a NON-FLASH version is available. FLASH is not always desirable in web design: 1.) Not everybody has FLASH on their computer, 2.) FLASH works better on broadband, and most people are NOT on broadband at this point and 3.) If not done with restraint, you may be annoying your visitors more than you are welcoming them

Cost is determined by the number of pages in a template, whether or not FLASH is used and the degree of customization you request for your website. Can I use my own pictures in the template that I choose? Absolutely. Please indicate where you would like to use your own photos in place of those provided in the template. If you want to use your own photos in a FLASH version of the template, please let us know this too.
How much customization can be done to the template I choose? There really is no limit. You will need to provide us with the content (Text and images) that you want on your website and we will incorporate it into your website. However, many people choose templates so they can take advantage of using photos and images that are already there, and simply add their own text content...this is how you can maximize the value of a template-based website.
Where do these website templates come from ? Print2Web has an alliance with a quality international creative company that contracts web development services from individual designers. All designs you see on our website are original designs created specifically for our template service provider.
The website design I like indicates it has already been downloaded several times before...what does this mean? And should I be concerned? It means that other companies like Print2Web have customers that have used that particular design for a website of their own. This should NOT be a concern because: According to www.google.com, there are over 3,000,000,000 (3 BILLION) webpages on-line worldwide. Because of this, and the fact that you are looking at a total number of downloads WORLDWIDE, the chances that you will ever see your website design somewhere else is slim. Is there anyway that I can use a template, and keep anyone else from ever using that same design? YES! (As long as you see there are "0" (zero) downloads when you view it). Simply indicate that you want a UNIQUE TEMPLATE on our FREE REQUEST FOR QUOTE form. This will cost more, but our template provider will remove your requested template design from circulation, and it will never be used by anyone else. If a design has already been downloaded a few times, you can still purchase a UNIQUE TEMPLATE thereby removing it from any further circulation. How long will it take to make a website for me using a template? Generally we can build a site for you anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. This will be dependent upon the amount of customization needed. However, if you needed a website really quick, and were fine with using the existing photos and images on the website, we could create the website in a day or so after receiving text content from you. Once again, please indicate your needs on our FREE REQUEST FOR QUOTE form, and we will do our best to meet them.
I don't have a webhost, can you help set one up for me? Yes. We have a few service providers that we could recommend. We can help with arrangements, however, it will ultimately be up to you to sign-up with a hosting service. We are happy to assist, but we are not in the web hosting business and make no guarantees, warranties and assume no risks or liabilities based upon your decision to use any web hosting service.
I need a domain name for my website, can you help? Yes. We can conduct a search and provide you with available domains that either match or come close to that which you are seeking.
We charge a flat rate of $40 for this service, plus the cost of actually registering the name with a certified ISP with this authority, (Typically $25 - $50/year).
